I attended a workshop on a ranch in Texas owned by my friends, Charles and Jackie Railsback. Workshops are for growth and stretching a painter. This one, by the great Judi Betts, did just that. There were times when I had to step back and be myself. I would go walk the 400 acre ranch with my watercolors and just be myself for a while. This painting represents my soul on a late, windy, afternoon.
